BUTTE — Billings Senior and Butte High didn’t manage to hang a run on the scoreboard for the first half of Thursday afternoon’s matchup at Stodden Park, but the Broncs plated eight runs in the final three frames to score an 8-3 victory.
The two teams were slated for a doubleheader, but just the first game counted towards the teams’ conference records. Butte High fell to 5-2 in conference, while the Broncs improved to 4-2.
