BUTTE — The Butte Central Maroons softball team opened up their home schedule with a bang on Thursday afternoon, scoring six runs in the first inning en route to a 14-1 win over visiting Dillon in five innings.
Kloie Thatcher paced the Maroons on the mound and at the plate, shutting down Beavers hitters while hitting a pair of home runs.
