BILLINGS – Western Montana dominated the Treasure State Classic – a high school girls basketball all-star showcase – Saturday afternoon in Billings, as the ‘A’ West beat the ‘B’ West 62-48 in the championship game at MSU Billings’ Alterowitz gym.
Butte Central’s Kloie Thatcher scored 16 points to lead the ‘A’ team, who led by as many as 20 in the first half. Bigfork’s Jamie Berg led the ‘B’ team with 12.
Each of Class AA, A, B, and C fields four teams in the 16-team tournament.
