BUTTE — Behind head coach Josh Keller, the Twin Bridges Falcons boys and girls basketball teams battled their way to a pair of District 12C championships in Butte on Saturday night.
The girls came away with a wire-to-wire 51-36 win over the Ennis Mustangs, while the boys pulled away from a tight game late in the fourth quarter for a 45-33 win.
The two teams take their No. 1 seeds into the Western C divisional tournament on Feb. 22. The tournament will be held in Hamilton.
There is one more spot available from District 12C, with Philipsburg and Drummond facing off in a challenge game for the right to continue their seasons. That game will be held on Monday at 6 p.m.
