HAVRE – The Chinook boys basketball defeated North Star 62-56 to claim the Distict 9C championship on Friday night. Isaac Bell had another monster game with 33 points. The Sugarbeeters earned the No. 1 seed at next week’s Northern C divisional tournament in Great Falls.
The Fort Benton boys topped Hays-Lodge Pole in the consolation final to also advance to divisionals.
Box Elder and Fort Benton each won girls semifinal matchups and will meet in Saturday’s district championship.
