HELENA – Helena Capital’s all-time leading rusher and holder of nine other offensive and defensive school records is headed to Idaho to play football for the Vandals this fall.

Seth Schneider received offers from various Frontier Conference schools, but instead chose to take the challenge of accepting preferred walk-on status for the Big Sky Conference program, fully believing in himself and his abilities to preform at that level.

“Their coaching staff is what drew me to their program. They have three guys who went to Capital, so that’s cool,” Schneider said of the strong Montana ties to the program. “I just felt like I just wanted to see what I could do at that level. I felt like I could play there and that’s why I wanted to go there. I definitely am going to have to prove myself there compared to kids who have full scholarship offers, but I think I can do it.”
