BILLINGS – The Billings Senior Broncs rolled to their 11th straight girls basketball win Tuesday night, defeating crosstown rival Billings Skyview 60-20 inside Rimrock Auto Arena.
Senior used a 41-6 run between the second and third quarters to put the game away. The Broncs led 12-6 after the first, but established a running clock for the entire fourth quarter.
Skyview’s boys, meanwhile, used a 12-0 run at the end of the first half to put away Senior, 53-34 in the nightcap.
Senior led 17-16 midway through the second quarter, but the Falcons scored the final 12 points before the buzzer to take a 28-17 lead into the locker room. Skyview extended the lead to 42-26 by the end of third quarter.
Both boys teams are now 3-5 in the Eastern AA conference, tied for fourth. Senior’s girls now lead the East at 8-0, while Skyview falls to 1-7.
