THREE FORKS — The Three Forks Wolves rode more strong performances from Colter Miller and Shainy Mack to a pair of wins over Whitehall on Saturday night.
Miller scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a 70-63 win over the Trojans, who played the second half without senior Wyatt Alexander. The senior and Montana Tech football commit hyperextended his knee in the second quarter on a drive to the basket.
The Trojans trailed by just two points entering the fourth, but the Wolves were able to hold off Whitehall for the victory. Payden Lynn added 20 points for the Wolves and Michaiah Hauser scored 15 points.
Max Feight posted another solid performance for Whitehall, scoring 26 points.
The Three Forks girls stayed undefeated on the season, with a convincing 74-31 win over Whitehall. Point guard Mack filled the stat sheet, scoring 30 points and grabbing five rebounds, while dishing out six assists. Morgan Allen added 19 points for the Wolves and Kyle Olson scored 12 points.
Dorothy Mastel was the only Lady Trojan to reach double digits with 11 points, and she also grabbed nine rebounds.
