TOWNSEND — The Townsend girls basketball team kept its strong season alive on Friday, holding off Class A Livingston 65-49. Tavia Rooney led the charge with 18 points while Charlotte Watson chipped in with 16 for the Bulldogs. Lainee Hill also reached double figures with 13 points in the win for Townsend, which ranks No. 3 in the MontanaSports.com Class B power rankings.
Kadie Vandra had a game-high 21 points for Livingston.
In the boys game, Jakim Ricketts poured in 27 points, including six 3-pointers, as Livingston earned a 55-43 victory over the Bulldogs. Easton Hatfield and Brady Salesman combined for 29 points in the loss.
