ENNIS – The Ennis girls basketball team raced out to a 29-5 advantage and never looked back as they routed visiting Lima, 58-15.
Ennis had eight of nine players score, led by 12 points apiece from Jourdain Klein, Whitney McKitrick, and Josie Hokanson.
The Ennis boys did not start as fast, but eventually found their footing. At the half, the Mustangs and Bears were knotted at 11. However, a 29-9 third-quarter run by Ennis blew the game open. The Mustangs went on to win, 62-37.
