GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls CMR boys used a dominant run in the first quarter to top Butte, 76-41. The Rustlers held the Bulldogs scoreless for the entire first frame, leading 24-0 entering the second quarter.
CMR led 45-18 at halftime and never looked back.
Sam Vining led the Rustlers with 13 points, Garrison Rothwell had 12, Jake Olsen scored 11 and Kaden Walsh pitched in with 10. All 12 Rustlers who saw minutes scored.
Lathan Ricketts led Butte with 16 points and Trevyn Roth had 12.
The Rustler boys will face Class A Havre on Friday, while Butte hosts Great Falls High at home on Saturday.
