GREAT FALLS — For a second straight year, the Bozeman Hawks are champs at the Class AA duals in Great Falls and for a second straight year – the final dual went down to the final match with Kalispell Flathead.

Through 12 matches, the Braves held a 29-28 lead over the Hawks entering the last weight class. Top ranked Leif Schroeder came through for the Hawks with a pin in the first period to lift Bozeman to a 34-29 win and back-to-back championships.

Great Falls High finished third after a thrilling 30-29 dual win over Billings Senior. The Bison led 30-26 entering the final match, but Senior’s Jayden Ramirez couldn’t get any bonus points in a decision win, leaving the Broncs just short in fourth place.
