BOULDER – Max Feight continued his impressive season, pouring in 26 points and leading Whitehall to a key 5B conference win over Jefferson on Friday night. The Trojans earned a 61-40 win over the Panthers.

Feight was brilliant in the opening minutes, burying a pair of 3-pointers as Whitehall opened a big lead. Fellow Trojans Wyatt Alexander and Cade Briggs added to the scoring, as the Trojans quickly led 11-2. But Josh Eckmann, who had a team-high 18 points for the Panthers, Nolan Sonsteng and Bryce Harrington made key shots of their own as Jefferson rallied to tie the game in the second quarter. But Feight was too much.

Whitehall outscored Jefferson 46-29 in the final three quarters, including an 11-5 advantage in the final frame. Alexander scored 14 points in the win, while Ryan Murphy also reached double digits with 10.
