BUTTE — Neither team managed to score 40 points on Friday night, but the Butte Central Lady Maroons emerged with a win in the Mining City, while the Lady Bulldogs suffered a double-digit loss.
Central maintained a lead for the majority of the night in a 35-26 win over the Frenchtown Broncs. Kloie Thatcher led all scorers with 11 points.
Butte High struggled to find the basket in the first half, scoring just eight points at the break. Billings West took a double-digit lead into the second half and held on for the 42-30 win.
