LAUREL – The Laurel Locomotive girls moved to 4-0 in Eastern A play with a 46-32 win over Glendive Saturday afternoon.

Laurel scored the first six points of the game – all in the paint – to establish an early lead. Glendive stayed close thanks to multiple three-pointers from Bailey Pearcy in the first quarter, and the Red Devils were within one possession at 31-28 after the third.

Laurel though won the fourth quarter 15-4 to put the game away.

Billings Central meanwhile moved to 3-1 in conference with a 54-17 win over Sidney. The Rams jumped out to leads of 19-2 and 38-4 before calling off the dogs in the second half.

Central goes to Laurel for the first rivalry meeting of the year on Friday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
