Billings West girls, Billings Central boys victorious at city swim meet

BILLINGS – The high school swimmers were up at Rocky Mountain College on Saturday morning for the Billings Public Schools City Swim Meet.

The Billings West Lady Bears coasted to an easy 35 point victory, while Billings Central edged the Bears by 10 points on the boys side.

Cailin Fiddler took home two individual titles for West high, while Madison Klaudt and Hailey Pilcher also won events. The girls relay teams were victorious in the 200 Yard Medley and the 400 Yard Free Relay.

The Rams were led by Jack Leuthold who took home titles in the 200 Yard IM and the 100 Yard Free. Bennett Apostol and Jake Molloy also picked up event victories for Billings Central. The Rams relay teams won the 200 and 400 Yard Free Relays.

The Lady Bears picked up an even 100 points on the day, while Billings Central came in second with 65 and the Lady Broncs of Billings Senior finished 3rd with 58 points.

The Billings Central boys bested Billings West 95-85. Senior took home 3rd place with 54 points.
