CHURCHILL – The Manhattan Christian boys basketball team took down previously unbeaten Gardiner 67-44 on Friday night. It was a two-point game late in the third, but the Eagles stormed out in the fourth quarter to move to 8-1 on the season and 5-0 in district play, taking the top spot away from the Bruins.
Gardiner falls to 9-1 on the year and is now 4-1 in the district.
