GREAT FALLS — Garrison Rothwell scored 16 points to lead the Great Falls CMR Rustlers to a 55-40 win over Missoula Big Sky Thursday night in Great Falls.
CMR led 23-16 at halftime and jumped out to a double-digit lead early in the third quarter. The Eagles never got closer than eight points the rest of the way.
Rothwell led a balanced attack which also included 14 points from Sam Vining and 12 points from Jake Olsen. Jordan Casselman led the Eagles with 13 points.
The Rustlers improve to 4-1 on the year, with their Eastern AA opener set for Saturday against Butte. Big Sky falls to 0-6 overall.
