The Sidney wrestling team is in a familiar spot, as all other Class A wrestling programs stare up the Eagles.
Sidney is the top-ranked team in the latest Class A wrestling coaches' poll. The Eagles have the top-ranked wrestler in five of the 13 weight classes.
The Eagles, who have won three consecutive State A wrestling titles, have 12 total wrestlers ranked in the top six of their respective weight classes. The only weight Sidney doesn't have a wrestler in the top six is 126 pounds.
Sidney's top-ranked wrestlers include Owen Lonski (113 pounds), Jordan Darby (145), Zander Burnison (152), Aden Graves (160), Riley Waters (205) and Brodey Skogen (HWT).
Sidney also has the No. 2 wrestler in multiple weight classes. Zander Dean (132), Kolton Reid (138) and Kade Graves (170) help highlight the depth that has made Sidney so dominant in recent years.
Frenchtown, which finished runner-up to Sidney at least year's State A wrestling tournament, has four top-ranked wrestlers and 10 ranked in the top six of their respective weight classes.
Other top-ranked wrestlers include three-time state champion Cooper Birdwell (132) of Lewistown, state champion Orion Thevierge (170) of Havre and Frenchtown's Eli Warner (120), who placed second last year.
