Class A is still looking up at Sidney.
The Eagles remain the top-ranked team in the Class A wrestling poll, with Frenchtown and Lewistown rounding out the top three.
Glendive, Havre, Miles City, Laurel, Columbia Falls, Polson and Corvallis complete the top 10 of the poll, which is released weekly.
Guy Melby's Eagles have five top-ranked wrestlers. Aden and Kade Graves hold the top spot at 145 and 152 pounds, respectively. Dylan Lutz occupies the top spot at 160 pounds, while Riley Waters and Jett Jones remain the top-ranked wrestlers at 182 and 205 pounds, respectively.
Aden Graves, Waters and Jones were state champions in 2019.
Frenchtown should factor into the championship conversation in February, as the Broncs have four top-wranked wrestlers. Three-time state champion Jake Bibler was ranked second at 132 pounds in the previous edition of the poll, but he's currently the top-ranked wrestler at 126 pounds.
Landon Stewart (103 pounds) Eli Warner (113 pounds) and Walker Dyer (120 pounds) also sit atop their weight class for Frenchtown. Sidney has the second-ranked wrestler at each of those three weights, as well as at 132 pounds and 285 pounds.
No. 3 Lewistown has one top-ranked wrestler, and that's defending champion Cooper Birdwell at 132 pounds. Duano Otto II is ranked second at 160 pounds.
Class A teams in Montana will compete across the state this weekend, with the most prestigious meet of the weekend being the Cowboy Invitational in Miles City.
