BILLINGS -- A rough start turned into a strong finish for Billings Senior on Tuesday night in a 40-25 wrestling win at crosstown Skyview.

On a night honoring Skyview's seniors, early matches looked promising for the Falcons. Cameron Savaria opened the scoring with 7-1 decision over Alex Charette at 145 pounds. Paolo Salminan followed with a Skyview pin at 152.

But Senior answered with a barrage of scoring started by Luke Brewer and Thomas Klepps with a pin and major decision, respectively. Klepps' win gave the Broncs their first lead of the match at 10-9 and they wouldn't trail again. Peyton Morton (182) added a forfeit decision increasing Senior's lead to 16-9.

The teams traded wins through the next six matches. Skyview's Brenner Bushfield won by pin at 205 drawing the Falcons to within a point. Armand Fair picked up another forfeit win for Senior at 285 before Hunter Ketchum reeled off a 10-2 decision to keep Skyview in the hunt at 22-19. The Falcons forfeited again at 113 before Talen Barrington-Miller held off Daveigh Hernandez for a Skyview decision at 120. Dylan Emborg kept the heat on for Skyview winning a 5-3 decision at 126 and drawing the Falcons to within 28-25.

But Senior's Matthew DeWitt put it away pinning Caleb Partridge at 132.
