DICKINSON, N.D. — Huntley Project put the rest of the Montana - and North Dakota, for that matter - on notice Saturday, sweeping all 10 sets on their way to the Dickinson Volleyball Invitational title.
The Red Devils beat West Fargo, N.D. 25-20, 25-14 in Saturday's championship match, after sweeping Dickinson, N.D. and Linton, N.D. earlier in the day during Gold Bracket play. Huntley Project swept Glendive and Heart River, N.D. in pool play on Friday.
The two-time defending State B champions have won close to 80 matches in a row.
Billings Central meanwhile finished 5th in the tournament. The two-time defending State A champions lost to Our Redeemer, N.D. in their first match Saturday, but rebounded to sweep Billings Skyview and Linton.
