CHURCHILL -- The rivalry between the Manhattan Christian and Gardiner volleyball teams will be put to the test once again on Friday afternoon as the two teams will meet in the District 11C undefeated semifinal.
The top-seeded Bruins handed the Eagles their first loss of the season last Thursday, but No. 2 Manhattan Christian will look for a chance at redemption Friday at 4:30 p.m. with the winner earning a spot in the title game.
To start district tournament, Lone Peak defeated West Yellowstone 3-1. The Bighorns then fell to MCHS 3-0 in the second round. White Sulphur Springs took down Shields Valley in five sets before being swept by Gardiner in the next game.
