BUTTE — Columbia Falls, the winner of the Northwest A pool play, met with Corvallis, the Southwest A pool play champion, for the deciding first-place game in the Western A volleyball tip-off at the Butte Civic Center on Saturday.
Much like the fifth- and third-place games, this one went into a third and final set. Columbia Falls was able to take down the Corvallis Blue Devils 25-23, 24-26, 15-14 to claim the early season crown.
