BILLINGS — Billings West opened rivalry week in style Tuesday with a 3-0 sweep of Billings Skyview at the Golden Dome.
The Bears scored seven of the first eight points in Game 1 on their way to a 25-13 win. Skyview played better in the second, but West prevailed 25-22 before sweeping the Falcons in the third, 25-16.
West now prepares for a road date at their other crosstown rival, Billings Senior, on Thursday. Varsity tip is scheduled for 7 p.m., though Tuesday's varsity match didn't begin until after 8 p.m.
