RONAN -- On Saturday night two Bitterroot Valley teams, the Hamilton Broncs and Corvallis Blue Devils, faced off in the Western A girls basketball divisional title game.
From the tip-off Corvallis was on fire as it opened the game up with a 23-10 run. However, Hamilton roared back as it scored eight unanswered points to make it 23-18. At the half, Corvallis had a 25-18 lead.
In the second half both teams battled back and forth, but after a late blocking call at the end of the game sent Corvallis to the free throw line, the Blue Devils came away with the 44-43 victory.
