Harlem 68, Colstrip 47

L'Tia Lawrence, Taya Trottier and Kailee Henry combined for all but eight of Harlem's 68 points as the Wildcats blasted past Colstrip in loser-out action Friday morning at the Class B state tournament.

Lawrence had a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds, dominating the Fillies on both ends. Trottier had 19 points and Henry 10 in the win.

Kya Egan had nine ponits for Colstrip, who was led by Addison Casterline's 11 rebounds in the loss.

Harlem will meet either Forsyth or Big Timber on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Malta 48, Bigfork 43

Kylee Nelson had 11 points and five rebounds, Kelbee Denham added nine points and six boards, and the Malta M-ettes advanced in the consolation bracket Friday morning at the Butte Civic Center.

Tied 38-all after three quarters, the M-ettes did just enough to advance, despite not scoring a field goal in the final 4 minutes, 15 seconds. Malta was 19-of-29 shooting from the free throw line.

Ansleigh Edgerton had a game-high 17 points, while also corralling six rebounds for Bigfork in the loss.

Malta will face either Shelby or Missoula Loyola Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at Butte High.
