BELGRADE -- Gabby Weber has been through more than most. It's been a curse, sure, but there have been numerous blessings along the way.
As a junior, Weber was diagnosed with popliteal artery entrapment syndrome, a rare vascular disease that restricts blood flow to the lower leg and foot. In an instant, her dreams of playing college basketball appeared to be taken away.
But through multiple surgeries, hours of physical therapy and rehab, with well wishes from friends, family and others around the state, Weber has worked her way back to the court in her senior season. She's allowed to play limited minutes for her Belgrade Panthers, which compete in the Eastern AA divisional tournament this week in Billings.
Weber and MTN Sports present a sneak peek of the latest MontanaSports.com Original: One day at a time. The full feature will be unveiled this week at MontanaSports.com.
