CHURCHILL -- Thursday night marked seven straight wins for both Manhattan Christian's girls and boys teams, after both ousted Lima with 60-plus point victories.
Manhattan Christian's girls were on pace to score 120 points Thursday after jumping out to a 23-point lead in the first quarter, 31-8. The Eagles finished on top 81-19.
Manhattan Christian's win over Lima featured nine different scorers, four of which finished with double digits.
Eliana Kuperus led the Eagles with 17 points, followed by Taylor DeVries and Kiersten Van Kirk with 15 each, and Katelyn Van Kirk with 10.
The Manhattan Christian boys also had a successful night on the court, routing Lima 93-25.
Manhattan Christian's entire roster, 12 players in total, contributed to Thursday night's win.
Three of the Eagles' 12 scorers finished in double digits: Caidin Hill (13 points), Willem Kimm (13) and Jackson Leep (10).
Both Manhattan Christian girls and boys basketball will take on the Manhattan Tigers Friday night at home.
