MISSOULA -- On Thursday evening the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks traveled to Missoula to try to knock off the No. 1 team in Western B girls basketball, the undefeated Loyola Breakers.
Without two of their regular starters, Sam Clevenger and Lani Walker, the Breakers still had no issues getting the offense working from the start.
After Loyola took a commanding 26-10 lead into the locker room at the half, the Blue Hawks came alive in the second half and held the Loyola offense at bay.
In the end, the Blue Hawks' comeback effort came up short, as Loyola escaped and moved to 15-0 with the 58-48 win.
