DILLON — The Frenchtown and Dillon girls basketball teams faced off in Dillon for an early season conference matchup on Thursday, and the Beavers rallied for a 22-19 win.

Frenchtown jumped out to 5-0 lead before Dillon would score their first points of the game. Late fouls and good free throw shooting gave the Broncs a 14-11 lead heading into halftime.

But in the second half the Beavers would outscore Frenchtown 11-5 for the comeback 22-19 win.

Both Dillon boys and girls teams will be off until Jan. 4, when they'll head to Livingston for a doubleheader against the Rangers.
