GREAT FALLS — Hallie Thompson scored 14 points and Great Falls High outlasted a fourth-quarter comeback to defeated Great Falls CMR 48-45 in Eastern AA girls basketball action on Thursday.
CMR led 21-20 at the end of a back-and-forth first half. The Bison dominated the third quarter to take a 41-28 lead, but then CMR outscored Great Falls 17-7 in the fourth. The Rustlers came within two points in the final minute, but ran out of time.
Ashlyn Jones followed Thompson with 12 points for the Bison, and Alison Harris scored 10. Lauren Lindseth was the lone Rustler in double figures with 10.
Great Falls High improves to 6-3 on the season, while CMR falls to 3-6.
