BOZEMAN -- The Bozeman girls basketball team moved back to .500 in Eastern AA play as the Hawks defeated Billings Senior 57-50 on Friday night.
Bozeman (5-8 overall, 4-4 Eastern AA) led by as many as 12 points in the second quarter before the Broncs battled back to lead by four heading into the final frame. However, junior guard Addi Ekstrom helped lead the Hawks to victory behind her 20-point performance.
Senior falls to 3-5 in the Eastern AA and 5-9 overall.
But the Broncs did get revenge in the boys game as they pulled off a surprise upset over Bozeman at home 65-52. Senior bumps up to 6-8 (3-5 Eastern AA) on the season, while the Hawks fall to 7-6 (4-4 Eastern AA).
