BILLINGS -- After a heartbreaking defeat in overtime to Billings West on Friday night, Billings Senior was the team to make a comeback on Saturday.
The Broncs overcame a six-point halftime deficit to tie the game up at 31-all entering the fourth quarter, and Senior continued to pour it on. The Broncs eventually led 42-33 with less than two minutes to play, outscoring Bozeman 22-7 in the first 14 minutes of the second half.
Bozeman would tighten the game up at the end, as the Hawks cut the Senior lead to three, 43-40, with just under 30 seconds to play, but the Broncs would hang on for a big Eastern AA win.
Billings Senior's girls are in action next Friday at Great Falls High. The Bozeman girls will host Billings West on Tuesday.
