BILLINGS — The Billings Central girls basketball team put up another impressive win Friday, beating Class AA crosstown rival Billings Senior 53-34 to move to 5-0 on the season.
Central closed the first quarter on 10-0 run to take command early, 14-4. The Rams ran the lead to 23-6 with 5:00 to play in the first half after Mya Hansen hit a deep 3-pointer. Senior pulled to within 11 later in the half, but Central ballooned the lead back to 27-12 at halftime.
Jensen Keller pulled the Broncs within single digits, 39-30, in the fourth quarter, but the Rams then went on a 14-0 run to put the game away.
The Rams face a tough test Saturday as they host another Class AA foe, Billings West, at 2 p.m.
