ANACONDA — The Copperheads keep rolling.
Makena Patrick scored a game-high 15 points and Sami Johnson added 14 as the Anaconda girls' basketball team cruised past Philipsburg 58-34 on Tuesday evening at Memorial Gym.
With the non-conference win, Anaconda improved its overall record to 4-0. The Copperheads led 20-8 after one quarter and extended their advantage to 32-17 by halftime.
Maniyah Lunceford added 8 point for Anaconda, Megan Reich had 6 and Mia Sullivan Sanders and Alyssa Peterson each had 5.
The Prospectors were led by 14 points apiece from Amelia Hill and Asha Comings.
Anaconda will put its unbeaten record on the line when the Copperheads head to Dillon on Thursday to face the Class A Beavers.
