THREE FORKS — Tuesday night's boys basketball matchup between Twin Bridges and Three Forks was a back-and-forth battle that came down to the final minute of the game. In the end, Twin Bridges eked out a 46-41 win.
With 40 seconds left on the clock, Three Fork's Owen Long powered through a wall of defenders underneath the basket to cut Twin Bridges' lead to one, 42-41.
In hopes of getting another chance on offense, Three Forks committed three consecutive fouls to force Twin Bridges to the free throw line. Twin Bridges went 4 of 6, ultimately leading to a 46-41 victory.
Twin Bridges had two scorers in double digits Tuesday night. Matthew Kaiser had a team-high 18 points, followed by Charlie Kruer with 14.
Three Forks also had two scorers in double digits. Owen Long had a game-high 21 points, including five 3-pointers in the first half. Austin Allen finished with 12.
