POWER — The Power girls and boys basketball teams each picked up wins over Dutton-Brady on Friday night.
The Power girls built a 19-point lead by halftime and never looked back, taking a 49-30 win. Sierra Sievers and Veronica Smelser each scored nine for the Pirates, while MacKaela Pulver scored 10 for Dutton-Brady.
In the boys game, Spencer Lehnerz scored the go-ahead three in the final minute, leading Power to a 48-44 win. Nick Widhalm scored 16 and Lehnerz added 15. Tyce Erickson and Rylan Doheny each scored 12 for the Diamondbacks.
