LAUREL -- The Crazy Train was rolling Friday night in Laurel as the Locomotives posted a pair of near identical blowout basketball wins over Sidney.
Colter Bales delivered a big third quarter, delivering 13 points, two blocks and a breakaway dunk leading Laurel's boys to a 64-21 win. Bales finished with 24 points on the night as Laurel improved to 9-2 overall.
Laurel's girls followed in the nightcap defeating the Eagles 65-26.
Emma Timm and Becky Melcher led the Locomotives in scoring with 13 points apiece. Sophia Timm added nine.
Sophie Peters carried the scoring for Sidney with 12 points.
