HELENA -- Coming off of a 7-5 finish to the 2018-19 conference season with a team stacked with juniors, the Helena Capital boys basketball team looks to be primed for success.

Now turning to players like Bridger Grovom, Trevor Swanson and Shane Haller, Bruins head coach Guy Almquist knows his team will be hard-pressed to beat out the 'big men' of the Class AA. But what they lack in size, Almquist says the Bruins will make up with their tactics.

"I think for us to have the most success, it needs to be fast-paced. We need to push the ball." said Almquist. "We're not big, but we're pretty skilled, we've got a lot of guys that can handle and shoot the ball, make good decisions, so we need the game to be fast-paced. We're going to do a litany of things to make sure it's at our tempo and our pace all season long."

The Bruins' first test of the season will not be an easy one. They'll play host to the reigning Class AA state champion Bozeman Hawks on Dec. 13 at 3:30 p.m.
