GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls High boys basketball team took a lead on its first possession and never looked back, cruising to an 87-45 win over Bozeman Gallatin on Thursday.
Drew Wyman led the way for the Bison with 24 points, including two thunderous first-quarter dunks. The Bison built a a 27-9 lead after one quarter, and held Gallatin to just six points in the second to go into halftime up 48-15.
Three other Bison scored in double figures. Levi Torgerson added 12 points, Tarel Rollins scored 11 and Garrett Stone scored 10. Great Falls moves to 4-0 on the year.
Garrett Dahlke led the Raptors with 10 points. Gallatin falls to 1-3 on the season.
Across town, the Bozeman High boys defeated Great Falls CMR 66-45.
Ty Huse led the Hawks with a game-high 21 points, including four 3-pointers. Jackson Basye scored 13. Bozeman improves to 3-1 on the year.
Trey Wasson scored 16 for the Rustlers and Daniel Botti-Anderson scored 12. The Rustlers move to 1-3 with the loss.
