GREAT FALLS — Levi Torgerson scored 17 points and Drew Wyman added 16 as Great Falls High defeated crosstown rival Great Falls CMR 71-54 on Thursday to sweep the regular-season boys basketball series.
CMR opened the game with a 6-0 lead before the Bison responded with a 15-0 run of their own, eventually building a 15-point lead by halftime. Four Bison found their way into double figures as Tarel Rollins and Teage Fought each scored 12.
Keegan Barnes scored 12 points and Tristan Suden scored 11 for the Rustlers, who honored their late classmate and friend David Delcomte with "4 U 42" T-shirts. Delcomte, who wore No. 42 in football, died last summer in a diving accident.
Great Falls High moves to 11-3 overall, 6-2 in Eastern AA play. CMR falls to 4-10, 2-6.
