WHITEHALL — Whitehall was scheduled to host a doubleheader against Twin Bridges Saturday night, but COVID-19 related issues canceled the girls game.
However, the boys, especially Twin Bridges' Matt Kaiser, were good to go. Kaiser scored a game-high 32 points to help the Falcons to a 69-58 win over the Trojans.
It was a back-and-forth game from the jump, though, with Whitehall's Brenden Wagner keeping the Trojans alive with seven 3-pointers and a team-high 25 points.
Heading into the fourth, Whitehall held onto a two-point lead, 45-43, after a buzzer beater by Wagner, but Kaiser took over the fourth. The 6-foot-5 big man scored 14 points down low in the final quarter to secure the Falcons' win.
