BILLINGS — Montana basketball fans will never forget the 2020 high school state tournaments, after coronavirus concerns canceled the tournaments after two days of play, leaving semifinal winners as co-champions. It was an unsatisfying ending to many, but there were still plenty of championship-caliber performances.
Senior Julius Mims carried his Billings Skyview Falcons to the State AA title. Fairview's Josh Herron did the same in Class C, while Lodge Grass brought home the State B crown on the back of Damon Gros Ventre's stellar weekend.
