BUTTE — Dougie Peoples scored a game-high 22 points and Bryson Setrich added 13 as the Butte Central boys basketball team overcame an early deficit to rout Anaconda 67-27 in a non-conference game on Tuesday evening at the Maroon Activities Center.
The Copperheads took a 5-point lead in the first quarter before an and-one from Peoples gave the Maroons a 13-10 lead with two minutes remaining in the quarter.
Konnor Pochervina added 11 points for the Maroons and Kyle Holter had 7.
The Copperheads were led by 11 points from Eli Saltenberger.
Anaconda heads to Deer Lodge on Friday while Central travels to Dillon on Saturday for a rematch against the Beavers
