BOZEMAN — After being down by double-digits in the second half, Bozeman High clawed its way back in the final quarter to squeak past Great Falls CMR 54-51 in Eastern AA boys basketball action on Thursday.
The Hawks' Bryson Zanto scored five 3-pointers for a team-high 15 points. Ty Huse also scored 15, going 7 for 8 on the free throw line.
CMR's Rogan Barnwell led the Rustlers with 18 points, including three 3-pointers.
Over at Bozeman Gallatin, a strong second half from Great Falls High propelled the Bison boys to a 51-33 victory over the Raptors.
Great Falls had two players finish in double digits: Drew Wyman (21 points) and Levi Torgerson (16).
Rylan Schlepp was the only Gallatin player to finish in double digits, leading the team with 13 points.
