BOZEMAN — The Bozeman Hawks boys basketball team, which came into Tuesday night in second place in the Eastern AA, took on the Billings West Golden Bears.
The Golden Bears kept the game tight early, trailing only 17-13 at the end of the first quarter. However, they finished the first quarter in foul trouble and Bozeman had bonus free throws for the whole second quarter and the Hawks went into the half up 37-29.
The Hawks would dominate the second half, eventually winning the game 72-54.
Bozeman junior Trent Rogers had a team-high 18 points.
Bozeman is now 7-2 on the season and West falls to 4-5.
