BILLINGS — The Billings Central boys turned a four-point halftime lead into a 67-50 win Friday over Lewistown in a potential Eastern A divisional preview.
Central led just 30-26 at halftime, thanks to a half-court buzzer beater from the Golden Eagles going into the break. Rams guard Johnny Day, though, hit back-to-back 3-pointers late in the third quarter to give Central a 45-31 lead. Lewistown would never challenge again.
Central improves to 10-6 with the win, while Lewistown falls to 6-10.
