GREAT FALLS – The Providence men’s basketball program added another Brave in Kalispell Flathead’s Brett Thompson, head coach Steve Keller announced on Thursday. Thompson joins Stephen Bridges as the second signee from Flathead High School to join the Argos for the 2019-20 season.

“We are really excited that Brett chose to come to the University of Providence,” said Keller.

Thompson, a native of Kalispell, joins the Argos after playing for the Braves under coach Ross Gustafson at Flathead High School. As a senior, Thompson shot 40 percent from the field, 76.5 percent from the free throw line, and averaged 8.1 points and 1.4 assists per contest for the Braves. He will major in business at the University of Providence.

“Brett should fit right in with our guys and our program, and we are looking forward to watching his development with us and in the Frontier Conference,” said Keller.
