GREAT FALLS — Argo men’s basketball continues to add Great Falls talent with the signing of transfer Reece Green from Dawson Community College (DCC), announced by head coach Steve Keller on Friday.

“We are excited Reece will be joining our basketball program this fall,” said coach Keller. “Reece will be a great addition to our team bringing a lot of athleticism, knows how to defend, and really rebounds the basketball.”

Green, a 6-5 forward, comes to the Argos with two years of eligibility after playing his freshman and sophomore seasons with Dawson. He played in 55 games for the Buccaneers over his two-season career at DCC, starting in 28 of those contests. He averaged 19.2 minutes per game, collecting 4.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game, and shooting 43 percent from the field this past season with the Buccaneers. During the Bucs 2018-19 season, Green served as a team captain and helped lead Dawson to a 20-12 overall record and a 10-4 record in conference play. In his first year with the Buccaneers, he was a part of a Dawson team that finished the 2017-18 season 24-8 overall.

A native of Great Falls, Montana, Green graduated from C.M. Russell High School in 2017. As a Rustler, Green averaged 12 points, six rebounds, and four assists a game his senior season. He also earned Eastern AA All-Conference honors during the Rustlers’ 2016-17 season.
